Thunder for Philips Hue done right. Finally. Meet the most spectacular and realistic Thunder Ambiance app available for Philips Hue. It's truly immersive. Hue Thunder provides an unique thunder simulation in various settings. Every time you start one of the ambiances it will be different and unpredictable. Al light effects have been precisely created and synced with thunder sound to create and impressive simulation with your Philips Hue setup. It will impress everyone. Hue thunder can also be used to train pets to get used to thunder sounds and lightning flashes. Our unique node based soundscape engine, which is behind the beautiful designed and intuitive user interface, is truly innovative. It uses techniques which are used by top game designers and audio engineers to mimic nature's way and randomness. On top of that our soundscape apps use a unique and simple to use occurrence slider to let you decide how often a specific bird or other sound is used in the preset. Still it's totally unpredictable when a specific sound is being heard therefore producing an amazingly natural sound experience. It can run for hours on end without getting repetitive like other sound engines do. Choose from the following thunder presets and themes: Thunder presets: - Light drizzle. - On a rainy day. - Heavy rain pours down. - Light thunder storm. - Inside the thunder storm. - Heavy thunder storm. - Tornado Alley. - Hurricane mayhem. Thunder Ambient presets: - A damp rain forest. - At the beach after a warm day. - Staring out the window in a busy city. - A walk in the city under the umbrella. - Bad weather camping at the lake. - Storm over NYC. - After the storm. - In the car. - Bike ride through Amsterdam. The following elements can be altered during playback: - Sky brightness. - Sky On/Off - Thunder brightness. - Thunder occurrence. - Environment volume. - Thunder volume. Other features: - Bluetooth and Airplay supported with delay compensation. - Sleep timer to safely fall asleep with a stormy fading background. Lights turn off after sleeptimer is finished. (Hue Thunder also works without Philips Hue, but obviously without light effects).

The app does not work. I’ve tried multiple times to set it up with my hue hub and it will not connect. The developer is non-responsive to requests for help.
Brilliant app, if you don’t have the Bridge Pro. I just got the Bridge Pro, but did not know that it would break compatibility with older apps. Very disappointing (both in Philips and IMakeStuff). I bought all of their apps and add-ons.
It doesn’t seem to work with the 2025 Hue bridge.
All these apps were great and I purchased all of them but now none work due to no updates in 3 years and they don’t work with the new hue bridge pro.
Piece of garbage and won’t connect to any hue bridge. Send my my 3.99 back. No option in the app for help.

Really hoping for a comparability update for the Bridge Pro. This app is such a good simulator I’ve actually used it for sleep and mental health. Bummed it’s not currently working. If this is the end, I’m here to pay my respects! Thanks for a great app that helped me probably more than intended.
This has been a well-used application for me over several years. Regrettably I don’t believe it is being supported and maintained. The last few iOS updates have broken key app functions Including the ability to direct sounds to AirPlay speakers. I recommended this app to others, but can no longer do so.
App doesn’t work (no airplay support) and developer refuses to respond to user inquiries. Not sure why it’s allowed to be on the store anymore
