Vocabulary - Learn words daily

Love this app. Is there a way to search for a word? Sometimes I encounter a new word that I want to understand better but have not been able to figure out how to find it in the app.

After answering a series of questions it then told me I would be reminded in three days that my trial is up or I could pay for an ANNUAL subscription now. Deleted immediately.

They updated their app and deleted all of my saved vocabulary

There is no way to search up definitions for specific words. This app would be 10x better if you could search word definitions and save those words to allow them to come up for you to learn them. A lot of the words they suggest I already know but there are many words I’d like to look up and save (without having to add a custom word definition which is a strange feature they have)

(Did not pay for subscription) I wanted to basically self-learn in order to kill time whether I’m doomscrolling, have nothing to do, or waiting for something short. The app was overall okay, I did learn some new and interesting words. It felt a bit like TikTok, (kind of obvious) where you scroll and heart/save the ones you need or like. A pretty good way to discover new words. However, what disappointed me were the amount of paywalls the app was filled with. When I used the test feature to check my vocabulary score, it immediately blocked me from viewing it and forced me to subscribe to EVEN see my score. There were dozens of features, games, and topics, I could’ve tried out to improve my personal vocabulary, but again, they were all locked behind a paywall. I do appreciate the occasional notifications I get when I enabled them, where it introduces or asks me new words to get me on track, but overall, the free version of the app is heavily restricted. If you’re reading this and are okay with paying $60/year to unlock all access, definitely recommend. If you’re someone who’s on budget or doesn’t want to pay, I wouldn’t recommend this app. For me personally, I’ll keep this app for a little while before deleting this app for good. I’m disappointed with the thousands of paywalls this app is filled with, when I expected more for free.

I checked the box the app provided to get a notification before the free trial ends however, I never got any notifications and they charged me $52. I’m upset and I don’t want to subscribe but it looks like now I am subscribed for a year now.

I love this so much I learn my new words and incorporate them to be used during the week

It had promise. I removed it after the trial was explained at the end of set up. It was fun while it lasted.

Great for continued learning and using trying the words with friends immediately
