Klara – Patient communication

This app has terrible functionality. It will stall out on login even if you mark it to remember you for 30 days. I have re logged in five times in one day bc it fails to load and just spins despite being on FiOS 1G WiFi. when you are in the app, the screens are not optimized for mobile use. This is a piss poor communication app to manage my son’s doctor’s appointments

Omg I hate this app as a patient! Every time I open it, it does MFA through a text message, then a face if scan, and THEN it asks me for dob! On EVERY app open! Saving information for 30 days option doesn't work.

Ok, so the app would get 5 stars except it’s irritating me. Every time I log in I get reminded that I should enable notifications. I DON’T WANT TO. I get so many notifications from so many apps, I don’t need even more. I should have the opportunity to say “never ask me again”.

This app gets stuck on a white screen with loading icon, sometimes multiple times, every time I try to use it. I have to re-enter my phone number then wait for the code and then re-enter my son’s birthdate EVERY. DAMN. TIME. Even if I just did it a few minutes ago. So I’ll send a message to the doctor, switch to another app to check my email, get a notification that the doctor responded, go back to Klara and have to re-do all the login steps. Just absurd!!!!

Question: What is the purpose of a checkbox option to "remember this device for 30 days" if you still have to sign in with face ID/password, a one time text code, and date of birth EVERY SINGLE TIME. And then it will automatically sign out after about 5 minutes of idle time. I understand the desire to protect PHI, I really do. But I don't share this device with anyone. I checked the box. My face id/password OR text verification should be enough, not all three.

What’s the point of having this if I have to literally log from my device through a website. It doesn’t remember anything either! When I get a notification from my provider if I navigate off the app even for a second I need to login with another code and then verify my identity again only for it to timeout. Way too buggy for me then my grandma is definitely not using it.

This app stinks. Always down and no answers from office staff.

This is one of the most frustrating apps I have used in recent years. The application feels slow and overly complicated, with too many redirect screens and unnecessary steps just to reach basic functionality. The user interface is not intuitive, and common tasks require excessive navigation and repeated verification processes. Overall, the experience feels cumbersome rather than streamlined. After continued frustration with usability and performance issues, I ultimately stopped using the app entirely.

I have some health issues which causes me to see my dr once a week. Not sure what the app has a check box to stay authorized for 30 days for but it makes me authorize my log in EVERY time i open the app, even though I’ve selected the box. This might be a small complaint to most, but this is very annoying when i lm messaging my dr multiple times a week.

I have installed it and uninstalled it three times, and I can never get completely logged in. Why bother?
