Unfortunately, the app does not save my progress within a lesson, so I cannot pause the lesson or log out and log back in picking up where I left off
It’s a good, thought out app and makes language learning more easy, but I wish there was more language option, since it’s severly lacking in languages. One of the languages I would recommend adding is hatian-creole
Their translations are not correct. They suggest meanings rather than accuracy, therefore, learning the words is almost impossible.
You have to pay to get to the next lessons, this isn’t a free app, you have to pay to learn.
Working my way through Babbel to prepare for a trip to Costa Rica next week, I am finding that there is far too much emphasis on conjugation of verbs and the endings of words and not enough on every everyday vocabulary. I would prefer more conversations so that I could actually talk with people when I go to Costa Rica

I am doing Spanish on Babbel and it is too easy for me
I tried this method of learning Spanish for about 3 weeks. I did it every day, and I did not find that it was the right approach for me. There was a lack of repetition, a lack of immersion. The lessons moved on after brief introductions and it never felt like there was sufficient time or practice for things to really click. The approach to writing and practicing/reviewing what I had learned was also so automated that I didn’t feel I was doing enough work to make things stick. I found I kept wishing I could just go back to by Freshman high school introductions to Spanish class! In addition to that, the company will not give me a partial refund for an annual membership. I don’t remember seeing a 20 day money back guarantee. At 24 days of daily lessons and review, I felt I had given the program a decent chance, and asked for a partial refund. They will not. I now have 11 more months of this, and I can’t get out of it, and I don’t feel it is effective anyway. Very disappointed in the product and the company.
I just paid you $199 and I have confirmed my email and every time I open the app it asks me to pay. Are you kidding me? Please send me an email and correct the problem.
With the Italian language, you can only do word recognition, and not conversations. This does NOT properly teach how to carry on a conversation.
