Here has been the rollout in my corner of southeast MN: 1 - new system is coming! Stay tuned! 2 - stay tuned! 3 - after staying tuned for over two months EBT/FIS/whatever county shuts off EBT function around a week ago without notification (mid June 26) ; SNAP stops working at POS 4 - “get the new app!” 5 - get it (this app) 6 - “it doesn’t work in your state! Stay tuned!” 7 - right. How do we get EBT cards working without focusing on the app? 8 - “get the NEW! app! Not the one that would have been helpfully named’FIS EBT 2026’” 9 - no support inMN - as we just discussed four lines up in this chat; need service reengaged/flag cleared 10 - “replace your card!” 11 - will that resolve anything? 12 - “I don’t know!” 12.1 - “escalate human” 12.2 - “To check your balance and reset your pin…” 13 - the balance is currently at hundreds of x this bottle of Arizona Ice Tea… how do we enable this now disabled card? 14 - “by staying tuned!” I picked the word “bizarre” after careful consideration because…it’s appropriate and short. Last resort: engage the county. Wrongmove.tv “This is FIS, or adjacent to FIS, but it’s not us. We can tell you youre entitled for $x a month of SNAP on this date. We’re sorry.” Which is accurate; that is the current boundary in my 4 years of experience with these orgs through charges. So tldr: not happening in MN plus the go live appears to be shutting down legacy support in some (ie my) cases. Read the other reviews re “it’s odd that an app that does nothing was released.” Ps. Yeah let’s get on that dark mode issue. Priority one.

I am trying this new app for the first time so don’t really have any negative refuses about it

The original app says to log into the new app however, the new app doesn’t recognize the login information so I go to create a new account and it says sorry we don’t support my state EBT card yet. Why tell users to use a new app when it’s not even supported yet?

I can’t explain how frustrating it was going through the process of getting this new app up and running. In probably three years I don’t think I ever had a single issue with the previous app, but thought maybe this could possibly be an improvement. I was dead wrong. Username and password, no problem. Setting up 2 factor authentication was an absolute nightmare. Code failed to text first time, emails were USPS slow. Overall took 45 minutes to an hour of constant checking, rechecking, reentering info, all for an app that might be “pretty” but is totally inefficient, and wants extra steps over what was a pretty much hassle free app previously. One star is a bit generous at this point. Instead of focusing on form, work on function, this app gives information, it’s not for art.

Was easy to create an account and enter my card. It has proven to be a valuable tool in keeping up with my benefits.

Can we get dark mode added to the app and the ability to see our card number

It wouldn’t let me log in with my email and password that I use on the old ebtEDGE so I had to create a new account I was able to create the new account and add my WIC and EBT cards BUT this app literally doesn’t show any pending transactions it doesn’t show you when your EBT is going to deposit like the old ebtEDGE I hate that I need to see when my EBT is going to be deposited it’s reassuring to see it the night before. I will probably just stick with propel unless they update the app to add pending transactions also you can’t even see any deposit history or deposits at all. I don’t like it at all.

The old version doesn’t work anymore and there was no information issued to users which was lousy about the new updated version of this app! Download this version and it should work work especially if you were already using ebtedge prior and now the old version is just buffering or either saying that it can’t connect to the internet, which is the same problem I was experiencing for a couple weeks. I didn’t find out that it was a new app until I came to search the app and I saw they had a new app

All the new app does is show three visuals about the app but there is no way to use it. I kept getting messages the new app was available so I downloaded it to try. It does nothing but shuffle through the three visuals.
