Was gonna re subscribe but after reading thru the different offers I decided a hard no….why pay a subscription to watch shows and suffer thru ads? Hulu wasn’t all that great of a alternative movie/show app to begin with..and now you added ads to your programming platform …you have essentially became a cable provider…..epic fail!
Too many commercials, and if you rewind to before a commercial, it makes you watch it again
Any big event on live tv, there is always a tech issue. Go with another live tv service and save the headache. Missed a lot due to having Hulu.
Nobody is trying to turn on Picture in Picture to STAY IN YOUR APP! Get rid of that button. Make it so if a user swipes out of the app while something is playing Picture in Picture starts automatically. (Like every other video player app on the planet.) Also along the same exact line of issue. Approximately 6 in 10 times when I try to swipe out of the app in portrait mode while something is playing not in pip mode I end up swiping the list of episodes at the bottom of the screen instead of opening my app switcher. Seems like a container issue with your app specifically as this doesn't happen to me in any other app.
I love hulu because this is where I get to watch what netflix don’t have. But every damn five damn minutes there’s always a damn ad. I don’t pay for the non ads because it’s too much, but if i’m paying for minimum of between less ads and for other content, there shouldn’t be this much ads EVERY five minutes. Kinda annoying.
10 minutes into an episode and there is five minutes in ads. Why are the ads so long? Why are there so many every minute.
I have been a user of Hulu for years so I know this has been an issue from the beginning and probably why your app is about to be defunct. AD BREAKS 30 SECONDS BEFORE THE END OF THE SHOW IS ACTUAL TORTURE. Also, FIX YOUR STUPID “NEXT EPISODE” FEATURE! Maybe I’d like to actually see the end of a show before you start playing the next one. Anyways, glad your company is failing and hopefully you check yourself before you wreck yourself next time.
I get I have the ad version, fine, but there’s been a stupid 4th of July ad and , usually I just close and it reloads with a different ad and thats fine but tonight it wouldn’t. I tried multiple times and closed the app fully and it wouldn’t change to literally any other ad. Gross.
This isn’t about the service but the app. Pure trash. You’re not curing cancer. You’re not mining bitcoin. You’re not distilling frontier models. You are a video player. Why is your app so slow?? A dozen seconds to register a click is not supposed to be normal. Get response time down!
Please stop with the same commercials over and over every break. Same four or five ones on repeat.
