Worked well for years but now no longer functions for YouTube

I’ve used the app a long time and only recently the video will start playing but the controls won’t show up. You can’t make the video full screen or skip to a different part of the video. Wish this app would receive an update, Safari is awful to use without it.

Title: YouTube Is Usable Again — Thank You I cannot overstate how grateful I am for this app. Without Vinegar, using YouTube in Safari had become an absolute nightmare — cluttered, frustrating, distracting, and honestly exhausting. This app completely changes the experience. It works flawlessly for me and makes YouTube feel clean, simple, and usable again. What I appreciate most is that Vinegar quietly does exactly what it is supposed to do. No drama, no overcomplication, no extra nonsense — it just opens the door back to actually enjoying videos again. That may sound simple, but when something you use often goes from frustrating to peaceful, it makes a real difference. Thank you to the developer for creating this. I am genuinely happy I found it, and I appreciate the care that clearly went into making YouTube feel sane again. Easy five stars.

But subtitles are lean left and I can’t read

This is a must have extension. The awesome developer continually updates it to keep it working properly!

Has worked near perfectly for a few years now. Adds a lot of functionality to the youtube player. It’s much better to have the skip 10 seconds buttons available without being in full screen. The only problem is over the last month for me there has been a buffer at the beginning of most videos. I tested it out by disabling Vinegar, and there was no buffer on the default player. You will also see the experiencing interruptions? Notification so this is definitely intentional by youtube as that’s a problem on desktop as well. Vinegar classic has its own issues with youtube so I prefer Vinegar instead. I’m hoping this can be fixed in an update at some point. Still a great extension. Solution: For anyone who stumbles upon this I managed to fix this issue by changing the user agent. There’s a few apps on the AppStore capable of doing this very easy.

The app works exactly as advertised and is listed at a very fair price for the functionality. I’ve encountered one bug, where the volume jumps down every minute if you turn it up. I’m sure this is due to something on the YouTube page, but of course I hope And a Dinosaur can fix it up soon! I won’t be able to use it until this bug is fixed, please respond to my review so I get an email when it’s fixed and I’ll update it.

I’ve used the app for a while, the buttons to allow the extension OS level stay on screen after an option is selected. The video player overlay does not activate. A Liquid Glass UI would be nice. The rss feed needs a spotlight, underrated for sanity against google.
