ADT Control ®

I spent an hour and 20 minutes on the phone with ADT. They told me due to my cameras not being properly installed THREE YEARS ago, ( they have never worked right and I have called multiple times and no one ever tried to help solve the issue) as well as the technician scrapping a ladder across my hard wood floors scratching them, I would be eligible for a reduced rate for 6 months in addition to $150 credit. I just got an email from them saying that instead of the normal amount of 75.33 being charged or the agreed amount 37.67 being charged, I would now be billed $113.33 for my next billing cycle. I have been lied to and miss led from the beginning with this company and can’t believe I fell for their lies and scams again as well as wasted an excessive amount of time on the phone with them speaking to 3 different people.

I didn’t have any trouble navigating around the actual app. Having said that, I 100% agree with a previous comment that training, other than a two minute walk-through, would’ve been incredibly helpful! I’m certain some written instructions would definitely cut down on the amount of false alarms!

Useless for any real info regarding issues. Fine if you only want to arm or disarm your system

It won’t disarm the alarm through the app so I have to race to the panel to manually disarm it before the alarm blares off

You want to charge $160 to change a battery that was installed less than 6 months ago, but you give no direction in the app. Even though I was told on the phone you did, and it was easy. My window battery went out less than 6 months after being installed. You are no help. If AI can’t do it, you don’t want anything to do with it.

This app is much more difficult to navigate than the Pulse app. Stick with what works, stop making changes that aren’t necessary.

The new app is no help. It is not user friendly.

Very effective cistern

The tech behind ADT is pathetic and this app is no different. Impossible to complete basic tasks. UI built in the 90s

I'm about to discontinue service because there is no simple way in the control app to change my method of payment and none of the information provided by the AI assistant is accurate.

The app is responsive. However when adding someone it doesn’t work by just providing them a pin on the app. I “think” you also have to give ‘access panel’ auth. However giving this authorization doesn’t define “how much access” you’re actually giving someone access to. Next, If you want to add thru SMS you have to know the persons ‘cell carrier’ 🙄
