SECTION 2257 COMPLIANCE MADE EASY! This productivity app is designed to allow producers of certain erotic-themed images or video to easily compile, store, and transmit model age and information records required by U.S. law. Performers, photographers, website operators and others involved in the production of such material must generate legal records containing specific categories of information under Title 18 U.S.C. §§ 2257 & 2257A (“Section 2257”). A copy of the performer’s picture ID card must also be included in the records. Some online platforms also require a written record of consent by the performer to be depicted on a specific website or account. Quick 2257® allows you to: • Create a form containing the performer’s legal name, stage names, and/or aliases; • Record the date of original production of the depiction; • Identify the title of the work associated with the depiction; • Capture the performer’s picture ID card and verification photo on the mobile device; • Sign and verify the accuracy of the information using the touch screen; • Create a written, signed consent form authorizing publication of the depiction; • Compile all information into convenient .pdf forms; and, • Store the records on the device or email them to the records custodian. If you’re a model using this for other co-creators, it will not be sufficient for most major upload sites out there. Started using this but had to redo everything with a more sufficient form
This app distorts the quality of all images and documents, so everything is blurry and not accepted by sites. Stick to paper.
The app saves the files very blurry. You could lose thousands in shoots are at best have a headache tracking down models to resign….and we know what that’s like!
Does not send when you try to email
So hard to do anything with it all crashing, and the fact you can’t upload signatures and pictures is so ridiculous.
This app has made my life much easier. It’s extremely simple to create and send 2257 records with ID and a selfie pic. I’ve not encountered any of the issues mentioned in earlier reviews.
Everything is easy until you have to save the release form. When I save as pdf it doesn’t capture the models signature and I tried emailing it 4 different times to 2 emails and never received the form.
Simple to use and sends right to your email. I would like a print option in addition
Program just hangs. Spinning wheel of death. After data input.
