DAWG - Discipline & Motivation

I started today I guess from the little questions it ask in the beginning I started at level 13 an I chose the anime character lol I’m loving it so far it’s like my own system from solo leveling

The app certainly has potentially and COULD grow to be the largest app of this year. Their business model repels the consumer by asking you for a review before you’re even able to experience the app. This happens after asking you a bunch of questions (obviously trying to get us to invest time so we will pay, like other bs apps) and then when all your questions are answered and your time is taken away, you can’t do anything unless you pay. I get it, it needs to make money. But I strongly feel like if I just knew it worked how it’s advertised and comes across as via getting to actually use it for 3 days or something, I’d easily pay and tell all my friends. The world needs an app like this!!!!! But in a world of bs apps, even with good ratings, hiding your product behind a paywall just screams that it’s not good and you’re relying on people to pay once, get suckered in, and find out it’s not worth it. Maybe the apps cool. But I’m not dropping 60 dollars for something that is made with ai art and basically says “trust us… just… pay first” Hope you guys keep improving and deliver real value. The right crowd, which seems to be your target audience, will pay if you give us value first. Go world class with this app, please, and make an offer so good that we feel stupid saying no.

After having this for a few weeks I can honestly say that I’m overall not a fan. I like the idea of tracking and evolving a character based on aspects like discipline, mental, etc. I also like being able to customize my own goals, but that’s where my positive thoughts end. Overall, the app didn’t really seem motivating, more so berating and negative. I received “motivational” messages that were accusatory rather than understanding, empathetic or even positive. This might work for some, but not what I was looking for, especially not if I’m paying for it.

Bro! This is sick! From the sounds to the characters this is awesome! BUT can you add detailed features to the upgrades? • upgrade sword from “iron to steel to diamond” type thing😎 • add ancient habit building tips to and to be able to choose religions or something? • and lastly, literally to have like a pro version that has different sounds and level upgrades with advanced autogenerated challenges or something that gets thrown at you by an enemy character! 🤺🤯🤯🤯 lol I’ll give you my number if you want to brainstorm more🤯😂

I’m very self-motivated already, but it’s easy to forget certain things I want to improve on. This fixed that for me in an interactive/instant gratification way.

I shouldn’t have to pay a monthly to yearly subscription for a free app just to use it. This isn’t a good business model. I can’t even use the app because I get a subscription shoved in my face the moment I open it… I wouldn’t recommend this app, if it didn’t have a payment wall I would recommend it. But sadly this isn’t the case….. I really recommend allowing free users and not to pay money just to use the app.

This feels like habit trackers I have seen before, but try to hook new members with night mode and anime characters. Challenges are filled with cheaters, there is no actual guide to help you move toward your personal goals, just generic tasks. Walk 10,000 steps, that’ll gain you 1 strength bro, I swear.
