The tickets that I previously bought aren’t being shown.

Shockingly bad

I usually buy the train monthly pass from Lyndhurst to NYC Penn station. The ticket works on both bus and train and it used to be bus zone 3 on the ticket. However, on this month - June it shows bus zone 2 for the exact same price despite the train ticket being from Lyndhurst to NYP ? And even buying only a bus zone 3 monthly pass ticket is cheaper than the regular ticket I buy. NOW EVERY TIME I HAVE TO EXPLAIN WHILE COMMUTING WHEN THE DRIVER QUESTIONS THAT MY TICKET SHOULD BE BUS ZONE 3 NOT 2. Additionally, this new update sucks.

Bring back the old one. Get rid of this garbage

Maybe NJT wants people to be confused. Maybe they want to discourage ridership. If that’s the case, mission accomplished.

They updated the app and made it horrible. They removed the ability to actually see the train schedule for the next day in the app. Now you can only see the next few trains and you can’t plan a trip for a future day. It’s absolutely useless now. Truly one of the creepiest apps ever created.

The + button to add tickets is disabled 90% of the times that I try to book from Trenton to Penn NY

I don’t often write reviews - but the recently updated app is almost impossible to use. It’s clear there was minimal, if any, user research behind this redesign. Especially looking up schedules from one destination to another is very difficult and hard to understand. Load times have unbelievable lag. Truly awful user experience.

The new app update might the worst design I have ever seen. I hope everyone responsible is fired. I can’t figure out if something is favorited because it puts a slash through it when I click to favorite. I can’t find a schedule for my route. I click to save my home location and it says there are no options when I live 5 min walking distance from a train. In about two minutes trying to find a schedule I encountered multiple bugs where my input was cleared or it showed buses when I only clicked to see trains. Did they even test the app? I literally cannot figure out how to find a schedule. The old app was bad, but at least it worked.

You have to go through more of the app to finally view the bus schedules that you previously had marked as a favorite. Port Authority Bus Terminal gives me issues on viewing the next bus. I used to be able to favorite a route of a specific bus at a specific stop and view when the next bus would be arriving. Now you can't even do that. You favorite a route and it make you click on the bus stop just to show every single bus that goes to that specific bus stop instead of the one you're looking for. They need to update this recent update. Also there's no dark mode? Polish this asap! Trash. Before it was much better. Don't believe these bs 5 star reviews.
