Juxtaposer: cut, combine, edit

I can’t remember how many years I’ve had this app, but I’ve and used it and really appreciated it very much. One of the best ever apps.

I have literally been using this app for over 15 years. When I first starting using it, I would astonish my friends and family with my photo edits. Now everyone assumes I’m using and app or AI, I but I love the artistic side of the manual stack and erase method. I’m old school I guess. Never go away Jusxtaposer!

I’ve had this app over 10 yrs and it remains one of my absolute favorites

It offers an excellent tutorial when first opened plus helpful hints, but it is fundamentally easy to learn. Its user interface is smartly designed (I like it). The feature set is just about perfect to balance ease of use against achieving good results without a ridiculously steep learning curve as found in other apps of this type. I don’t need to use it often and my needs are fairly basic, but I’m quite glad I found it lurking in what has become the junk pile of unusable subscriptions called the App Store.

I purchased this app when I was in high school I believe (and I’m 29 now), it’s always done the same thing, worked the same way, never any glitches or weird blips. No new subscriptions or any funny business. The magic crop is excellent and it lets you zoom in down to the pixel to get a really defined outline if you need it. Amazing app!

This app is great. I love this app and use it often, I’ve used the Blend mode under Image Enhancements to produce some interesting effects when superimposing one picture or stamp on top of another. However it could use some improvement such as to isolate people or items with odd shapes that the built in isolator can’t manage and maybe a finger type tracing could help. Making erasures finer or more detailed and less toothy or less jagged. Also maybe a way to put in text along with being able to stylize the text such as in a half circle fashion for cool effects. Also the little curved arrow allows an item or erasure to go back to or undo a previous position But there’s no arrow to re-do a former action or position.
