The vampire story is great! However, the episodes are extremely short and you’ll burn through the free ones so fast. I don’t mind paying however you don’t get much for your money. $20 in coins didn’t get me much. It’s 4,000 episodes and to unlock it all would take years for free or hundreds of dollars. Kinda sucks bc I liked the story and the narration was decent. But because of the pricing model I may just give up on it.
I like it wish I could get more chapters daily but it’s nice
It plays a lengthy recap of previous episode at high coin prices. So you pay 9 coins for 15 minutes with a 2 minute recap
This would be a great app if they would add episodes daily.... and even the ones that say every 48 hrs are not added after that.... ive been waiting over a week on some of the stories to add episodes.... ridiculous.... and also having unfinished stories on here is making this not the best go to app for this type of content... its very frustrating and upsetting listening to a story for months only to find out it's unfinished! Also once u have finished a story and its completely downloaded, they start taking episodes back, so that u have to pay for them again or wait for them to be uploaded for free again
Do not start a long series on this app unless you want to be treated like a cash cow. I’m currently on episode 678 of a 4,000+ episode series (My Vampire System). I have already spent a lot of real money buying coins to support this story, even though the pricing on this app is completely overpriced compared to any normal audiobook platform. But here is the trap: the moment Pocket FM realizes you are a paying customer who is hooked on a story, the algorithm punishes you. They literally just cut my daily free episodes completely in half (from 4 down to 2). It is pure extortion. Because they see I’m willing to pay, they are actively forcing me to pay more by choking off the basic free unlocks that everyone else gets. They track your engagement and your wallet, and then they tighten the screws to manipulate you into another transaction. It’s predatory behavior. I was a loyal, paying user, but this greedy bait-and-switch makes me want to delete the app entirely. Disgusting way to treat your customers.
First, the app offered free episodes every 24 hours, but then if you don’t listen to the story for a while, they pause your free hours. What a scam! I like to stack up my hours for a story so I can listen without interruption. Stop trying to control when people can get their free hours! If you’re going to offer free episodes every 24 hours then leave it that way stop pausing it just because somebody wants to stack their stories!

As much as I love the stories “The Alpha’s Bride” and “She broke the beast” story, I’d rather this app be subscription based because I’ve spent so much money on the coins to continue the stories just for one of the stories that had 2 of the same thing and one of them I’ve paid for to be deleted which was a waste of money. With Subscription I don’t have to worry about money so much about it but now I’m angry and annoyed because I spent so much money just for that story to be deleted out of no where
You guys need to do better we need visual with the story are pictures why it always ads the stories are almost the same and they are of no use to comfort your thoughts because they only have ads
I have a subscription. I got to what they call the finale zone of the story that I’ve been listening to, and it won’t let me finish, listening to the story without buying more coins.
Bad business model, get rich quick with ai slop. Had or has potential to sell be good but not paying thousands of dollars for Vampire System.
