BreadMe allows you to easily - SCHEDULE your bread so it's ready at the time you need it. - keep TRACK of your progress in any recipe. - COLLECT your recipes in your pocket and take them anywhere. - SHARE your favorite recipes with friends, family, and other baking enthusiasts. - keep TRACK of your SOURDOUGHS. - receive REMINDERS for feeding your sourdoughs. - receive REMINDERS for progressing with your running recipes. I've always been a little intimidated by baking bread for family or friends, because the risk of forgetting something is high, and making sure your bread is ready at the exact time you need it can be difficult to plan. Still, I've been baking bread for over 4 years now and finally tackled the problem with planning recipes once and for all. After sharing it with a couple of friends and online, I realized just how many people craved such an app, so I decided to add some more features to the beta and release it. So now, here we are. I like this app and I use it scale my recipes.
So excited to try this. But zero instructions, not user friendly (I’m pretty computer savvy). Such a bummer.
Looks like a pretty good app so far. It would be nice to add/change titles for the blueprints. Hoping this app will help me keep track of making great bread.
I prefer cooking in grams, but as an American, it gets to be a big pain in the butt every time I have to convert units. It would be nice to have a button or a way to set preferred units. Thank you for responding and listening.
I’m a deeply neglectful baker, and constantly lose track of time while waiting for my bread to complete whatever step. This app is great for helping me stay on top of it! The only feature I wish it had was a way to include the actual bread recipe/ingredients in the Blueprint. Or even just a URL for where I found the recipe I’m using. I can’t keep track of those, either. Did I mention I’m forgetful??
I noticed hidden in settings that you can manage the step types and create custom names for your steps. Very helpful as I used the app without knowing that for a while.
Bread bakers best friend! No more setting multiple alarms/timers on your phone. This nicely lays out the steps of your recipe and reminds you of the upcoming step. Great reminders to feed your sourdough starter too!
Great app for anyone who likes to bake. 100% would recommend.
Just loaded this today after hearing about it on Reddit. Looks like it’ll make feeding my starter and tracking bread making WAY easier!! Thrilled that someone took the time to build this app. It’s everything I never knew I needed.
