Copper: Earn Cash

This is a garbage app. Don’t know how they get a 4.7 rating. Likely bots with fake reviews. It took 5 months of downloading receipts to accumulate 2000 creds. At the time it was enough for a $15 target gift card. I tried to cash out. Copper never sent me a code to complete the process. When I finally resolved it a month later they changed the minimum cash out amount to 3000 creds! They only allow 5 receipt downloads a week at 3 creds per receipt. You do the math it will take a year to accumulate even $25 to $40. What a joke. A scam!! Don’t waste your time. Stick with Fetch or CoinOut where you can get 10 times the amount as Copper for the same receipts! And don’t get me started on their nonexistent customer service. It’s a non-personal chat bot which gives canned non answers. It takes weeks for a real person to respond also with non answers. Hope this warning helps someone. Stay away if you value your time, effort and sanity! If I could give it negative stars I would!

Waste of time! Only except 12 tapes a week! Refuse half of what I tried ! Fetch, Pogo and other sites are much more user friendly!

the app itself won’t let me snap receipts. It’s saying I’ve reached my weekly limit even though I haven’t snapped any at this week or last week.

I’ve been at this thing for almost a year and have earned exactly nothing. Every survey I tried to do, after several wasted minutes, would tell me I was not qualified. Every game I try to play tells me, after playing for an hour or more, that I do not qualify since I played the game before. That’s a lie… I’ve never played any of the games I’ve downloaded from Copper…except for one ( which I loaded before I knew about this rule). I never expected to make a lot from this, but I did think I would have made a couple of dollars by now. There are a couple of games they would give me credit for…now if only those games would stop crashing. Horrible….

All of a sudden I could not get back in. I’ve been dealing with support for a week with no help. They keep saying put phone number in and click forgot password. There is no option. Also I just get directed to sign in page and it does not recognize my email. I was using face recognition to get in. In very frustrated.

I’ve been using the app for around a year. Mostly to scan receipts. Recent updates dropped the receipt limit from 20/week to 5/week. At the same time they more than doubled the payout threshold from 1400 pts to 3000pts. After putting in the extra time and effort to scrape the 15 XP needed to unlock another 5 receipts through playing games I do NOT want, I find out that I will be forced to play even more each week if I want to maintain “Bronze” level. These changes have made the app essentially useless to me. I give it 2 stars only because I have successfully redeemed in the past.

Makes it seem like you can get $10 and then cash out or anything definitely cannot. You have to earn 25 so you don’t get the free $10 until after you earn 25 and it’s difficult because the money earning goes very far down after a couple bucks.

Changes to the app only allow you to enter 5 receipts a week. That change has made me ready to dump this app. No longer a beneficial app to me.

Do not load it on your smartphone. It’s a scam and you wont be able to delete your account but only the app itself from your phone. All your data will stay with them.

I’m done with this one! I’ve tried this app and its payout of 3 points per receipt is not worth it. There are other apps that the payout is better, like Receipt Hog, Fetch, etc.

This app is not very good. You can’t contact a live person when you have an issue. They limit the number of receipts you can scan both daily and weekly. But it doesn’t work properly. I scanned 2 receipts this week then today I needed to scan more but the app said I reached my weekly limit. Also it takes way too long to earn enough points to cash out. It took me almost a year just to earn enough points to earn the minimum 3000 points and they don’t give you away yo actually contact a human being
